THE NANNY RESPONSIBILITIES

The nanny agrees to satisfactory comply with the parent expectations regarding the wellbeing of the children at all times while parent are away.

The employers’ children will be under the care and the sole responsibility of the nanny while on duty. 

The nanny’s cellular phone while on the job will be limited to cases of emergency and important personal or business nature and to take pictures or videos to send to parents as they might requested during the day and for emergencies 

  • Nanny can use her phone to communicate with parents during her shift
  • Nanny is only allowed to bring visitors at work when approved by employer.
  • Nanny agrees to maintain a cheerful and helpful attitude with the children,
  • Nanny agree to promote feelings of security and to provide a daily warm environment, as well as to plan age appropriate and fun activities with children.
  • Nanny’s primary duties are to ensure that the health, well being, education, development and safety of the children are never jeopardized.
  • Nanny is expected to perform all her duties when parents are away from home.
  • It is the nanny’s duty to make sure she does her duties even when employers are at home.
  • The number one priority to the nanny is to keep the children safe at all times.
  • Nanny is to treat children with kindness and respect and shall closely adhere to the form of parents’ discipline philosophy and child’s rearing preferences.
  • Nanny will make possible to protect the dignity of the children in her care at all moments.

 2. Development

Nanny agrees to further the development of the children in regard to colors, math, reading etc., the difference between right and wrong, cleaning up after themselves, dressing up and all age appropriate developmental skills.

Nanny agrees to use her creativity in planning activities that promote the physical, emotional, intellectual and social development of the children.

Hygiene

Nanny agrees to wash her hands before every feeding and/or when necessary before interactive play.

Nanny agrees to wash her hands after every diaper change or after consecutive changes of multiples.

Children plates, cups, bottles and utensils are to be used only by the child which they belong; not to be used by the nanny or other children at the same time.

Nanny agrees to ensure that no other person besides parents and siblings are allowed to kiss children on the mouth as to avoid germs transfer.

Household duties

Nanny agrees to leave the home in the same or better condition than it was immediately prior to her arrival each day except for special circumstances.

Nanny agrees to write a daily log for meals, diaper change etcetera and to confer with parents about any situational event as they occur to inform parent of their children new skills and achievements.

Nanny agrees to keep children’s laundry clean, folded, sorted, mended and ironed as needed.

Nanny agrees to keep inventory and restock of children's’ formula, milk, diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, shampoo, lotion and medications etcetera.

Nanny is to transport children to and from extra-curricular activities such as sports, music lessons, doctor’s appointments etc.
