The intention is to balance my conservative nanny techniques with new parenting concepts and technology; I seek working solutions that satisfy my employers prioritizing at all times their parental guidance and their choice of discipline. I attempt to a new commitment, a new experience; working together with a new family to satisfy the needs of their Newborn or infant. My job was to care for two boys ages 4 and 2. Parents: Adam and Blake Lieber; My duties: I began working for this family when baby Lev was six weeks old. I bathed and groomed baby; I stored mommy's milk by date and sterilized nursing equipment and bottles, I swaddled baby and sleep trained him. I follow mom’s schedule for baby naps and feedings; I kept a daily log to update parents about milestones and how the baby’s day went. Later on the baby ate formula and I mixed the formula, prepared bottles and feed and burped the baby. I assisted Lev during a successful potty-train. Lev’s mom and dad worked out of the home until March 2020 when younger Ty was born. We did speech training, color and shapes, letter and numbers, texture and feeling recognition and other motor skill trainings like ball-sports and problem solving; we sang, danced, read tons of books, explored the outdoors, jumped in rain puddles, visited the library, socialized with other peers at parks and libraries; I did meal preparation and feeding, cleaning kitchen after each meal and snacks, spot clean the kitchen floor, made children's beds, organized children's closet and bathrooms, I did the children's laundry, wash, fold and mend as needed, put children's clothes up in closets and drawers; I organized books and toys, kept play area neat. I drove the children back and forth to their outdoor activities using one of the family cars. Reason for leaving: Parents will move to Atlanta GA. where both children will start full time school.

My job was to care for the joy, health and safety of two children one boy and one girl of ages 3 and 20 months.  Parents: Meredith and Jeffrey Hom; There was one cat in the house. I began working with this family when baby Connor was six weeks old; I bathed and groom baby as needed; I stored mommy's milk by date and sterilized nursing equipment and bottles; I fed, swaddled and sleep trained the baby; I kept baby on a regular nap and feeding schedule. Later on, he ate formula; I mixed formula and prepared bottles. I also kept a daily log to update parents about how the baby’s day went and milestones. When baby sister was born, I spent quality time with Connor while caring for the needs of baby girl; when baby was older we all made a great team. We played animal sound recognition, color and shapes, letter and numbers, texture and feeling recognition and other motor skill trainings like jumping and problem solving; we read, played, danced, we were continually active; I drove them on one of the family cars to outdoors activities; we visited high end malls and stores, libraries, water parks, public parks, the Thinkery museum and other museums, the Botanical Gardens, Altitude, (before to Locomotion), I drove both children to their doctor’s appointments, we visited with the neighbors, we met new friends at the parks and libraries; later on, I picked-up Connor from his school care; I did meal preparation and feeding, I put both children to nap, nurturing them, talking to them, listening to their needs, problem solving together, constant brain stimulating and body motion. I infant-proof the entire house, laid down the floor matt on the play area and fed the family pet while the family went on vacation. Reason for leaving: Mother in-law and sister in-law with husband and two young teenagers, a son and a daughter moved in with them and the family dynamic took a totally new turn; it was time for me to transition to a new family.

My job was to care for the joy, health and safety of a pair of twins. Shola and Senna were six weeks old when I began working with this family; parents: Katie and Norman Houston; There was one old Doberman dog in the house. My duties: I bathed and groomed both babies; I stored mommy's milk by date and sterilized nursing equipment and bottles; I fed, swaddled and sleep-trained both babies. Later on both ate formula and I mixed the formula, prepared bottles and feed the babies.  I kept both babies on a nap and feeding schedule; I kept a daily log to update parents about how their baby girls day went and their newest milestones.  From babies we did color and shapes, letter and numbers, texture and feeling recognition and other motor skill trainings like body movement. We continually spent quality time together, we played moppets, danced, sang, explore the outdoors, went to eat at restaurants during the day and they learned table etiquette; we visited high end malls, water parks, public parks, we read tons of books, explored problem solving together, color and shape recognition; I drove the girls using one of the family cars to all our outdoor activities; the family went through two house moving and the girls had lots of fun with me during the two moves; potty-train was successfully early. I took the girls to the first day of school and babysat them both until they were about 6 year old. Reason for leaving: both girls began full time school and the hours offered were not in fit with my household budget; it was time for me to transition to a new family.

rom: 03.16.09 – 06.18.10; location: Austin TX. Weekly shift: 40 hours

My duties were to care for the joy, the health and the safety of a six week old baby girl; I kept baby Lily on a napping and feeding schedule; I bathed and groomed her as needed; I fed Lily, swaddled and sleep trained her; I kept Lily on a regular nap and feeding schedule; I stored mommy’s milk by date; I sterilized nursing equipment and bottles; I kept an extended daily log to update parents about diaper changing, feeding, napping and milestones. Lily’s days were wonderful; she loved her little play house, we went for long walks around the neighborhood, the neighbors stopped to visit with her and she loved it. We read tons of books, did color and shape, letter and number, texture and feeling recognition and problem solving, Lily was amazing at putting puzzles together and vocalizing since very early in her life! also, she was excellent communicating with sign language. We danced and sang and kept continually active, she enjoyed playing football with me! I did meal preparation, baby feedings, wiping counters, put dishes in dishwasher, spot clean the kitchen floor; I did Lily’s laundry, fold and put away; made her bed and vacuum her room carpet. Unfortunately employers were unaware of the nanny pay guarantee; there was a misunderstanding with family vacationing and nanny payment and our verbal communication was unclear; it was time for me to transition to a new family.

From: 04.11.08 – 02.27.09; location: Austin TX. Weekly shift: 60 hours

My duties were to care for the happiness, the health and the safety of only Isabella, the smaller sister in the family. Mother: Sheila Reid, God-mother: Tracy Goss. Isabella was nine months old when I began working with her. I kept her on a nap and sleeping regular schedule; I bathed her and groomed her as needed during the day; I kept a daily log for naps, diaper changing and meals; I drove Isabella in one of the family cars to the doctor’s appointments and outdoor exploring; we went for long walks around the beautiful neighbor in Lakeway TX. We sang, danced, read tons of books, listened to music, visited high end malls and stores, I took her for clothes and shoe shopping, we ate frequently in restaurants where she learned table etiquette; I babysat Isabella when mother was out of town for business sometimes two weeks at the time, I cleared up the kitchen counters after each meal, I sweep the kitchen as needed, organized Isabella’s room and closet; I kept play area clean, made Isabella’s bed, did Isabella’s laundry, wash fold and put away; We were continually outdoors having fun and when indoors we kept busy with fun activities that promoted Isabella’s education; I kept Isabella happily busy in a safe and stress free environment; that was her mother’s goal. Reason for leaving: Their family business took a sudden turn and they were to move out of State; it was time for me to transition to a new family. There were two cats and one small puppy in the family. 

From: 12.03.07 – 04.20.2008; location: Austin TX. Weekly shift: unpredictable variable

Reason for leaving: I had just arrived from California needing a more constant shift, more pay and more hours of work in order to settle in Austin. I helped new parents with their newborn until they found someone that was the perfect candidate for what they needed; my duties were to care for the safety of a newborn baby named Alejandro. Parents: Alicia and Fito Zander; I stored mommy’s milk by date and sterilized nursing equipment and bottles; I fed, swaddled and sleep trained baby Alejandro and I kept him in a regular sleep and meal schedule. I bathed baby and groomed him as needed throughout the day, Alejandro and I went for long walks around the neighborhood daily; we did a lot of animal sounds, I sang and danced with him; we had long and active conversations; we both kept his brain stimulating and body movement constantly going; we read books, texture and feeling recognition, he loved smelling fruits and vegetables. I kept a baby log for diaper change, feedings and nap as well as for Alejandro's milestones. I did Alejandro’s laundry; wash, fold and put away. I transitioned to my new family as seamless as Alejandro's parents found their perfect fit. There were pets in the home: a rabbit and a dog.
